RESPECT.:  Where are you from?

I am from Atlanta born and raised.

RESPECT.: How has that shaped you into who you are today?

I love being from Atlanta. I know a lot of people here. This is where I feel the most comfortable.

RESPECT.: Did you always have the support that you have now? 

I wasn’t as serious as I am now about my music. I always had the fan base though.

RESPECT.: How does that feel?

Feels great. I wasn’t pushing hard but now that I am all in its getting even better.

RESPECT.: When did this music journey begin?

All my life

RESPECT.: Is your Superwoman EP your debut project?

Yes, and I have a lot of artists on it. A lot of dope artists. There’s records for women and men on there.

RESPECT.: What was it like making this project?

I was in the studio starting from 2 am in the morning to 12 at night. I recorded the whole album in Atlanta.

RESPECT.: What is the meaning behind the title?

For all my strong and independent single mothers, out there.

RESPECT.: You mentioned you are a mother. Is it easy being a full-time artist and being a mother?

It is easy because I love being a mom. It is hard when I am on the road but other than that it is not. They understand what I am doing so it makes things better.

RESPECT.: What is your relationship with Johnni blaze?

She’s a mutual friend from work.

RESPECT.: What made you want her on there?

She’s a dope person and she is super supportive. We are rally friends and she puts me on. She gives me great advice. I love her.

RESPECT.: When did you know rap was the road that you wanted to take it?

When I heard Chyna Whyte, Gansta Boo, Charlie Baltimore.

RESPECT.: What would be the perfect collab be for you?

Working with Cardi b and Meek Mill

RESPECT.: What is your favorite track on superwoman?

Wish upon a star. You can do whatever you put your mind to. God is this the only person I talk to. People need to know if they keep praying things will happen for you.

RESPECT.: Are there any music videos on the way?

There’s two videos on the way and “Hoochie Mama” is one of them

I really liked the beat. After putting it in we just went off and now it’s going global.

Jah Jah is making a statement for the infamous Westside of Atlanta with the debut of her highly anticipated mixtape, Superwoman. Her single “All I Know” has peaked over 66K+ streams in such a short time gaining her massive attention from her hometown, Atlanta as well as sweeping across the Southern region of Mississippi to Miami.

The rapper is excited to release her project that she has worked on for months with the goal of delivering the true ATL sound. From the notorious neighborhood of Bowen Homes within Bankhead, Atlanta where such greats originated, Shawty Lo, T.I., The Shop Boyz, D4L and many others, she has no choice but to bring it but from the viewpoint of a female. “I just want to bring back the true essence of the coined ATL sound and to let the voice of a true Atlien, born and raised Westside ring” voiced Jah Jah.

The mixtape is comprised of 24 tracks plus an intro and outro showcasing features from 1Playy, Jhonni Blaze, Bloody Jay, Gucci Mane, Toon, label mates Plugg and Westside Shod, with a host of many others.

Coming from the Westside of Atlanta, new artist Jah Jah releases visuals for song, “All I Know”, her first single directed by Cricket. After teaming up with Break Em Off Records she executes her vision. As a retired dancer, she used her resources to invest in her talent and take her music to the next level.

In the opening scenes, the tone is set as sits high on her throne. From being showered with diamonds and hundred dollar bills throughout the video, Jah Jah made it clear that all she knows is work.
