<p>You know the drill: here are the best mixtapes of last week, here for your listening and downloading pleasure!</p>
<p><strong>GrandeMarshall, </strong><a title="Mugga Man" href="http://www.livemixtapes.com/mixtapes/21671/grandemarshall-mugga-man.html" target="_blank"><em>Mugga Man</em></a></p>
<p>When it seemed <strong>GrandeMarshall</strong> could not get any better&#8211;his debut mixtape <em><strong>800</strong> </em>was very impressive&#8211;the Philadelphia-based rapper returns with <strong><em>Mugga Man</em></strong>, a tape that drives with atmospheric production and <strong>Marshall&#8217;s</strong> alluring flow.<strong> <em>Mugga Man</em> </strong>picks up where <strong><em>800 </em></strong>left off, with <strong>Marshall</strong> continuing to experiment as both a rapper and producer, improving in both roles. His MCing skills take center stage though, as <strong>Marshall</strong> enlists producers <strong>Nascent</strong>, <strong>MP The God</strong> and <strong>SamGreenS</strong>. <em><strong>Mugga</strong> <strong>Man </strong></em>is an excellent tape that showcases <strong>Marshall&#8217;s</strong> consistency and creativity.</p>
<p>Standout track: &#8220;Gethernudeinterlude&#8221;</p>
<p><a href="http://respect-mag.com/mixtape-madness-8-download-the-best-mixtapes-of-last-week/various_artists_who_you_mad_at_me_or_yourself-front-large/" rel="attachment wp-att-59223"><img decoding="async" data-attachment-id="59223" data-permalink="https://respect-mag.com/2013/04/mixtape-madness-8-download-the-best-mixtapes-of-last-week/various_artists_who_you_mad_at_me_or_yourself-front-large/" data-orig-file="https://i0.wp.com/respect-mag.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/Various_Artists_Who_You_Mad_At_Me_Or_Yourself-front-large.jpg?fit=500%2C500&amp;ssl=1" data-orig-size="500,500" data-comments-opened="1" data-image-meta="{&quot;aperture&quot;:&quot;0&quot;,&quot;credit&quot;:&quot;&quot;,&quot;camera&quot;:&quot;&quot;,&quot;caption&quot;:&quot;&quot;,&quot;created_timestamp&quot;:&quot;0&quot;,&quot;copyright&quot;:&quot;&quot;,&quot;focal_length&quot;:&quot;0&quot;,&quot;iso&quot;:&quot;0&quot;,&quot;shutter_speed&quot;:&quot;0&quot;,&quot;title&quot;:&quot;&quot;}" data-image-title="Various_Artists_Who_You_Mad_At_Me_Or_Yourself-front-large" data-image-description="" data-image-caption="" data-medium-file="https://i0.wp.com/respect-mag.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/Various_Artists_Who_You_Mad_At_Me_Or_Yourself-front-large.jpg?fit=500%2C500&amp;ssl=1" data-large-file="https://i0.wp.com/respect-mag.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/Various_Artists_Who_You_Mad_At_Me_Or_Yourself-front-large.jpg?fit=500%2C500&amp;ssl=1" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-59223" alt="Various_Artists_Who_You_Mad_At_Me_Or_Yourself-front-large" src="https://i0.wp.com/respect-mag.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/Various_Artists_Who_You_Mad_At_Me_Or_Yourself-front-large.jpg?resize=500%2C500" width="500" height="500" data-recalc-dims="1" /></a><strong>Funkmaster Flex, </strong><em><a title="Who You Mad At? Me Or Yourself?" href="http://www.datpiff.com/Funkmaster-Flex-Who-You-Mad-At-Me-Or-Yourself-mixtape.478380.html" target="_blank">Who You Mad At? Me Or Yourself?</a></em></p>
<p>This tape features fifty-six tracks. All of the songs are exclusives and most of them are good. From <strong>Schoolboy Q&#8217;s</strong> &#8220;Hit Em Up&#8221; to <strong>Childish Gambino&#8217;s</strong> &#8220;Think Of Me,&#8221; the tape bangs pretty hard and offers an eclectic selection of rappers.</p>
<p>Standout track: &#8220;Love To A Diplomat&#8221; (<strong>Cam&#8217;ron</strong> feat. <strong>Lil Wayne</strong>)</p>
<p><a href="http://respect-mag.com/mixtape-madness-8-download-the-best-mixtapes-of-last-week/jae_millz_property_of_potentness_2-front-large/" rel="attachment wp-att-59326"><img decoding="async" data-attachment-id="59326" data-permalink="https://respect-mag.com/2013/04/mixtape-madness-8-download-the-best-mixtapes-of-last-week/jae_millz_property_of_potentness_2-front-large/" data-orig-file="https://i0.wp.com/respect-mag.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/Jae_Millz_Property_Of_Potentness_2-front-large.jpg?fit=500%2C500&amp;ssl=1" data-orig-size="500,500" data-comments-opened="1" data-image-meta="{&quot;aperture&quot;:&quot;0&quot;,&quot;credit&quot;:&quot;&quot;,&quot;camera&quot;:&quot;&quot;,&quot;caption&quot;:&quot;&quot;,&quot;created_timestamp&quot;:&quot;0&quot;,&quot;copyright&quot;:&quot;&quot;,&quot;focal_length&quot;:&quot;0&quot;,&quot;iso&quot;:&quot;0&quot;,&quot;shutter_speed&quot;:&quot;0&quot;,&quot;title&quot;:&quot;&quot;}" data-image-title="Jae_Millz_Property_Of_Potentness_2-front-large" data-image-description="" data-image-caption="" data-medium-file="https://i0.wp.com/respect-mag.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/Jae_Millz_Property_Of_Potentness_2-front-large.jpg?fit=500%2C500&amp;ssl=1" data-large-file="https://i0.wp.com/respect-mag.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/Jae_Millz_Property_Of_Potentness_2-front-large.jpg?fit=500%2C500&amp;ssl=1" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-59326" alt="Jae_Millz_Property_Of_Potentness_2-front-large" src="https://i0.wp.com/respect-mag.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/Jae_Millz_Property_Of_Potentness_2-front-large.jpg?resize=500%2C500" width="500" height="500" data-recalc-dims="1" /></a></p>
<p><strong>Jae Millz, </strong><em><a title="Property Of Potentness 2" href="http://www.datpiff.com/Jae-Millz-Property-Of-Potentness-2-mixtape.478837.html" target="_blank">Property Of Potentness 2</a></em></p>
<p>Even when his tapes are solely dedicated to smoking weed and celebrating its 4/20, <strong>Jae Millz</strong> still manages to create enjoyable music. The fact that he turns a verse from <strong>Erykah Badu&#8217;s</strong> &#8220;On &amp; On&#8221; into a marijuana-friendly jingle on &#8220;Whataday,&#8221; is a good example of his ingenuity. The production pairs well with <strong>Millz&#8217;</strong> lyrical content: the &#8220;Summer Madness&#8221; sample on &#8220;Elevate Your  Mind,&#8221; the &#8220;cloud rap atmosphere&#8221; of the aforementioned &#8220;Whataday,&#8221; and the minimal boom bap of &#8220;Dat Feel.&#8221; If he wanted to, <strong>Millz</strong> could become the go-to &#8220;weed rapper.&#8221; But he&#8217;s better than that.</p>
<p>Standout track: &#8220;Dat Feel&#8221; feat <strong>Mak</strong>, <strong>T-Real</strong> and <strong>GP<em><br />
</em></strong></p>
<p><a href="http://respect-mag.com/mixtape-madness-8-download-the-best-mixtapes-of-last-week/future_freeband_gang_black_woodstock_the_soundt-front-large/" rel="attachment wp-att-59436"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" data-attachment-id="59436" data-permalink="https://respect-mag.com/2013/04/mixtape-madness-8-download-the-best-mixtapes-of-last-week/future_freeband_gang_black_woodstock_the_soundt-front-large/" data-orig-file="https://i0.wp.com/respect-mag.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/Future_FreeBand_Gang_Black_Woodstock_The_Soundt-front-large.jpg?fit=500%2C500&amp;ssl=1" data-orig-size="500,500" data-comments-opened="1" data-image-meta="{&quot;aperture&quot;:&quot;0&quot;,&quot;credit&quot;:&quot;&quot;,&quot;camera&quot;:&quot;&quot;,&quot;caption&quot;:&quot;&quot;,&quot;created_timestamp&quot;:&quot;0&quot;,&quot;copyright&quot;:&quot;&quot;,&quot;focal_length&quot;:&quot;0&quot;,&quot;iso&quot;:&quot;0&quot;,&quot;shutter_speed&quot;:&quot;0&quot;,&quot;title&quot;:&quot;&quot;}" data-image-title="Future_FreeBand_Gang_Black_Woodstock_The_Soundt-front-large" data-image-description="" data-image-caption="" data-medium-file="https://i0.wp.com/respect-mag.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/Future_FreeBand_Gang_Black_Woodstock_The_Soundt-front-large.jpg?fit=500%2C500&amp;ssl=1" data-large-file="https://i0.wp.com/respect-mag.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/Future_FreeBand_Gang_Black_Woodstock_The_Soundt-front-large.jpg?fit=500%2C500&amp;ssl=1" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-59436" alt="Future_FreeBand_Gang_Black_Woodstock_The_Soundt-front-large" src="https://i0.wp.com/respect-mag.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/Future_FreeBand_Gang_Black_Woodstock_The_Soundt-front-large.jpg?resize=500%2C500" width="500" height="500" data-recalc-dims="1" /></a></p>
<p><strong>Future &amp; FreeBand Gang, </strong><em><a title="Black Woodstock: The Soundtrack" href="http://www.datpiff.com/Future-FreeBand-Gang-Black-Woodstock-The-Soundtrack-mixtape.479825.html" target="_blank">Black Woodstock: The Soundtrack</a></em></p>
<p>If you&#8217;re expecting 10 minute psychedelic raps featuring <strong>Future&#8217;s</strong> underwater and gargled delivery, you will be disappointed. Nothing is &#8220;Woodstock&#8221; about this tape except the fact that it&#8217;s wildly fun. And unlike past <strong>FreeBand Gang</strong> releases, <strong>Future&#8217;s</strong> cohorts actually leave an impression this time around. <strong>Casino&#8217;s</strong> &#8220;White&#8221; is ridiculous in the best of ways and <strong>Doe Boy&#8217;s</strong> &#8220;Sack&#8221; has a highly memorable hook. <em><strong>Black Woodstock</strong> </em>is, with the exception of a few dragging moments, a twenty-track adrenaline rush.</p>
<p>Standout track: &#8220;Suffocate&#8221;</p>

<p>In this day and age mixtapes worthy of attention and downloads are sometimes overlooked. So in honor of the mixtape hustle, we&#8217;re giving you the run down on some of the best mixtapes available each week. Here&#8217;s to Mixtape Madness!</p>
<p><strong>Waka Flocka Flame, <a title="Duflocka Rant 2" href="http://www.datpiff.com/Waka-Flocka-Flame-Duflocka-Rant-2-mixtape.451580.html" target="_blank"><em>Duflocka Rant 2</em></a></strong></p>
<p>BOW BOW BOW! Waka is at his rachet-est, screaming commands at you like some turnt-up drill sargent. The 17-song release is a raucous: trap-a-licious production, Waka&#8217;s signature punk-rap vocal delivery and guest appearances from Lil Wayne, French Montana and Gucci Mane.</p>
<p>Standout track: &#8220;College Girl&#8221;</p>
<p><a href="http://respect-mag.com/mixtape-madness-the-best-mixtapes-of-last-week/sasha_go_hard_round_3-front-large/" rel="attachment wp-att-55073"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" data-attachment-id="55073" data-permalink="https://respect-mag.com/2013/02/mixtape-madness-the-best-mixtapes-of-last-week/sasha_go_hard_round_3-front-large/" data-orig-file="https://i0.wp.com/respect-mag.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/02/Sasha_Go_Hard_Round_3-front-large.jpg?fit=500%2C500&amp;ssl=1" data-orig-size="500,500" data-comments-opened="1" data-image-meta="{&quot;aperture&quot;:&quot;0&quot;,&quot;credit&quot;:&quot;&quot;,&quot;camera&quot;:&quot;&quot;,&quot;caption&quot;:&quot;&quot;,&quot;created_timestamp&quot;:&quot;0&quot;,&quot;copyright&quot;:&quot;&quot;,&quot;focal_length&quot;:&quot;0&quot;,&quot;iso&quot;:&quot;0&quot;,&quot;shutter_speed&quot;:&quot;0&quot;,&quot;title&quot;:&quot;&quot;}" data-image-title="Sasha_Go_Hard_Round_3-front-large" data-image-description="" data-image-caption="" data-medium-file="https://i0.wp.com/respect-mag.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/02/Sasha_Go_Hard_Round_3-front-large.jpg?fit=500%2C500&amp;ssl=1" data-large-file="https://i0.wp.com/respect-mag.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/02/Sasha_Go_Hard_Round_3-front-large.jpg?fit=500%2C500&amp;ssl=1" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-55073" alt="Sasha_Go_Hard_Round_3-front-large" src="https://i0.wp.com/respect-mag.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/02/Sasha_Go_Hard_Round_3-front-large.jpg?resize=500%2C500" width="500" height="500" data-recalc-dims="1" /></a></p>
<p><strong>Sasha Go Hard, <a title="Round 3" href="http://www.datpiff.com/Sasha-Go-Hard-Round-3-mixtape.451069.html" target="_blank"><em>Round 3</em></a></strong></p>
<p><em>Round 3 </em>shows Sasha throwing fists &#8212; some hard and powerful; others soft and weak. Fortunately, there is more of the former than the latter. &#8220;No Time&#8221; is a banger and &#8220;To The Girls&#8221; has quote-worthy lines for days. (Seriously, &#8220;Pussy real good make a ni**a do flips,&#8221; is fire line.) Winner of &#8216;The Go Hard Championship&#8217; goes to Ms. Sasha.</p>
<p>Standout track: &#8220;To The Girls&#8221;</p>

<p><strong>Casey Veggies, <a title="Life Changes" href="http://www.datpiff.com/Casey-Veggies-Life-Changes-mixtape.443452.html" target="_blank"><em>Life Changes</em></a></strong></p>
<p>Veggies is onto something. His flow weaves through introspective and retrospective narratives, embracing his recently-achieved success, while looking towards the future. <em>Changes</em>, production-wise, is luscious. It&#8217;s simultaneously nostalgic and progressive. Sullen jazz guitar intersperses with cloud rap etherealness, resulting in consistent head-bangers.</p>
<p>Standout track: &#8220;Whip It&#8221;</p>

<p>Stoner rap is rarely, if ever, described as sophisticated. But Curren$y brings a level of sophistication to his light-up friendly tracks. Maybe it&#8217;s the soulful production that often accompanies his southern drawl. Actually, it probably is that and that&#8217;s what separates Curren$y from his peers. <em>City </em>proves two things: Curren$y is a consistent rapper and Juicy J will shout out Molly whenever possible (&#8220;Three 60&#8221;).</p>
<p>Standout track: &#8220;Bitch Get Up&#8221; feat Juvenile</p>

<p><em>Holy shit</em>. &#8220;Grew up round that Snow White bitch / ain&#8217;t seen no seven dwarves.&#8221; Millz seems to channel <em>Get Rich or Die Tryin&#8217;</em>-era 50 Cent, massacring beats with abrasive rhymes. He is expected to release his debut album some time this year. Until then, <em>Presidents </em>will surely satisfy.</p>
<p>Standout track: &#8220;Grind All Day&#8221;</p>

<p><strong>The Underachievers, <a title="Indogoism" href="http://www.datpiff.com/The-Underachievers-Indigoism-mixtape.449545.html" target="_blank"><em>Indigoism</em></a></strong></p>
<p>Upon first listen I felt The Underachievers had underachieved on <em>Indigoism</em>. I was wrong&#8211;they overachieve. There is a golden age rap aesthetic to the mixtape. From the jazz-friendly production to the vocals, nostalgia is essential to their sound. But it works: &#8220;We the new New York better protect your neck / When you lookin&#8217; at the Gods take another step back.&#8221; Some songs are not as captivating as others, but <em>Indigoism </em>has enough jams to keep listeners interested.</p>
<p>Standout track: &#8220;Land Of Lords&#8221;</p>

<p><strong>Con, <a title="King Con" href="http://www.datpiff.com/Con-King-Con-mixtape.450698.html" target="_blank"><em>King Con</em></a></strong></p>
<p>Con beats his chest proudly throughout this mixtape. The result of eight months of hard work and perseverance, <em>King Con </em>is a low-key release that deserves more attention. Con&#8217;s vocals may take some time to get used to but fortunately, he seems to find his sound early on in the mixtape.</p>
<p>Standout track: &#8220;40 oz&#8221;</p>

<p><strong>Gunplay, <a title="Cops &amp; Robbers" href="http://www.datpiff.com/Gunplay-Cops-Robbers-mixtape.443827.html" target="_blank"><em>Cops &amp; Robbers</em></a></strong></p>
<p>Gunplay does not give one fuck &#8212; so much so that he does not care about the quality of his recordings. (Forewarning: this mixtape is horribly recorded.) But his apathy, as he&#8217;s come to realize, is what makes him so appealing. He&#8217;s relentless in his delivery, unrestrained line after unrestrained line. The nightmarish, horror movie synths only add to Gunplay&#8217;s menacing demeanor. Although somewhat awkward, his recording on DMX&#8217;s &#8220;What&#8217;s My Name&#8221; fully symbolizes who Gunplay is. A talk-the-talk, walk-the-walk badass who has a soft spot for Six Flags.</p>

<p><strong>Le1f, <em><a title="Fly Zone" href="http://www.mediafire.com/?0gb56rml54kssmx" target="_blank">Fly Zone</a></em></strong></p>
<p>Le1f&#8217;s eccentricity is intriguing. His deep-voice flow shifts between high-pitch rambles and gutteral, MC Ride-esque growls. Lyrically, Le1f is lackluster but songs like &#8220;Breezy&#8221; and &#8220;The Whip&#8221; indicate his potential. Fortunately for Le1f just about every beat on this mixtape kills. Minimalist club bangers, diet-trap hitters&#8211;production that outshines instead of accompanies.</p>
<p>Standout track: &#8220;So Fly&#8221; feat. Don Jones</p>
