Imani Scott‘s LP The Introduction is finally here and we are obsessed! From beginning to end, it’s hit after hit and that’s all thanks to the famous producer whose worked with the likes of Beyoncé and Chris Brown, Issac “Chill” Yowman. He created the sound for the entire album, and needless to say he did his thing. However, let’s not forget that Scott has an impeccable voice; for the newcomers, here’s a video to her song “All Over Again.”

Imani is so excited about the release of her album that she even announced a tour for the near future. The introduction can be streamed and downloaded via Spotify and iTunes. We promise you won’t be disappointed.

Before Imani Scott‘s LP The Introduction gets closer to its release date, the artist decides to give the people another taste of what’s to come. First, Scott gave us the disco-inspired record “Get Litty.” Then, she slowed things a down a little bit and gave us “All Over Again.” Now, Imani is hitting us with a banger titled “Throwing Glitter.” As always, it’s a feel good anthem and it’s guaranteed to make you dance.

The P-Funk Princess, Imani Scott, is bringing a redefined sound to the game. Having live instruments in songs is becoming foreign, but Imani is determined to not let that trend fade. In her new single, “All Over Again,” the horns, guitar, and bass create a melodic masterpiece. Let’s not forget about the dope video. It’s pleasing to the eye, and for once the video correlates with the lyrics.

Imani Scott’s EP The Introduction is set to release September 7th, and with the two songs out now from the project, we can only imagine what the rest is going to sound like.

The recent graduate from Sam Houston State University is changing the game with her fresh take on a hybrid genre of music that appeals to the masses – young and old. “Get Litty, produced by Isaac “Chill” Yowman,” is the first official single from Imani’s upcoming debut LP titled “The Introduction,” dropping soon. Imani Scott effortlessly showcases her bold and soulful vocals with a captivating delivery that resonates well beyond her young years.

 These days we want to be so numb to everything, but I want to put that emotion back in the music, that Earth, Wind & Fire, so we can live in the moment. Everything on this project is going to make you want to get up and dance and feel good about life,” says the Houston beauty. “I’m determined to bring live instrumentation back to the music, to fulfill what we once had and get away from the artificial sound. I want to bring intelligence back to people listening and get us to level back up.
