NY-based and LA bred rapper Gita has a new* track out in promotion of her upcoming EP Escaping the Dream World. Produced by DJ Two Stacks of “Gucci Gucci” fame, “Hood Rich” is a smooth blend of the old and the new. The track easily could have been produced in the late 90’s, but it’s not quite nostalgic. Gita is more innovative than that.  Be sure to keep your eyes on her. You know you want to anyway…

And please don’t compare her to Kreayshawn.

*Update* The song came out last year, but it appears to have been unearthed because of the upcoming EP.
