]]> Born and bred in Brooklyn, NY, Wesley Brown Jr., professionally known as GQBEATS, is an experienced professional who’s been around the block as many times as any seasoned producer. He’s not only worked in every major studio you can think of, from the legendary Hit Factory to Sony Studios to Quad Recording Studio in Times Square, but has secured album placements with most major labels including Sony, Atlantic, Koch, and currently eOne and Epic.

GQ is a master of reinvention and a student of the game, adapting to what’s current while maintaining his signature quality and command over melody. Showcasing his versatility on Maino’s “Fuck Boyz Remix feat. T.I.,” or the latest GQBEATS produced tracks for the new era of New York rap stars, including Casanova’s “Letter to Tax” and Maino featuring Dave East’s “Live Ones”.
