During his BBC Radio 1 residency debut on Friday, producer Kaytranada premiered a dope track he created for California-based group, The Internet, entitled “Girl”. Though there’s no word on when the full version of  “Girl” will be released, this track is definitely something you must hear.

Pharrell‘s new album G I R L made a healthy #2 debut on the charts with about 110,000 in sales. With that, we thought it would be fun to focus on a lighter side of the Virginia musical mastermind that doesn’t include a crazy hat. This was a photo taken on the set of Pharrell’s video with Game a few years back that never saw the light of day. Skateboard P is clearly all about pleasing the ladies.

After multiple delays, Rick Ross’ Mastermind hit stores last week and was met with positive reception from critics and audiences alike. Similarly, white-hot Pharrell Williams released his solo LP G I R L to critical success, which is not surprising seeing as the man has been seemingly omnipresent at awards shows recently.

Now, both artists can take comfort in the fact that they sit atop the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart for the week, maintaining commercial success along with positive reviews on their latest projects. Ross has sold 184,726 copies of Mastermind,  surpassing projections of 145,000-160,000, and Skateboard P is looking at 110,090 copies of G I R L moved, undoubtedly a result of its immensely successful, Oscar-nominated lead single “Happy.”
