Baton Rouge native, Caleb Brown celebrates his high school graduation today with the delivery of his latest single “Ghetto Religion“.  The track is the second single from the 18-year-old rapper’s debut project, All Dawgs Go To Heaven 2, which is slated to drop next week.

Most may be familiar with him for his anthem-worthy track, “W$GT$,” which was released around the time of the Alton Sterling incident. The optimistic song received praise for uplifting the city of Baton Rouge when it was in need of a revival. On his latest track, “Ghetto Religion” Caleb Brown decided to team up with hit-making producer Wheezy, who is best known for his work with 21 Savage, Future, Quavo and Young Thug.

As the song opens, Caleb‘s powerful prose packs a resounding punch and paints a vivid picture of what life is like in his hometown. Hard-hitting lyrics continuously flow throughout the song’s entirety and prove why Caleb‘s gritty, underground sound deserves a place in the mainstream music world. His brash bars pair well with the menacingly bass-bumping beat that relentlessly rattles our headphones. We completely understand why Rostrum Records decided to sign this truly talented artist and we will be (not so) patiently awaiting the release of his full project.
