Jarrell ‘Big Baby’ Miller has a huge ten round fight against Gerald Washington on Saturday. The Brooklyn native’s match is an undercard to Mikey Garcia and Adrien Broner’s bout at Barclays Center.

Miller’s career began when he took up Muay Thai at the age of 14 and boxing at the age of 16. He holds an 18-0 record in boxing with his last fight being in August 2016 where he fought Fred Kassi in Rochester, New York. In addition to boxing, Miller is also an accomplished kickboxer and boasts a 21-2 record. In the kickboxing world, he’s lauded for beating K-1 veteran Pat Barry at the WCL Eastern & Western Conference Finals in 2008.
While all eyes are on the East coast for this weekends boxing happenings at Barclays Center, the world is waiting with baited breath for the big fight coming to the West coast, by way of Las Vegas, Nevada next month. Boxer Floyd Mayweather will take on UFC fighter Conor McGregor on August 26 at the 20,000 capacity T-Mobile Arena.

 

‘Big Baby’ is excited to see it. In an interview on the Get Fit Radio Podcast and webseries, Big Baby Miller weighed in on August’s big fight. “I mean, to beat Floyd he is gonna need a gun,” Jarell ‘Big Baby’ Miller told Get Fit Radio’s host Eric Salvary on McGregor.

“I mean there’s nothing he can do to beat Floyd at this point. I’m not sure he has a legit boxing coach, but he would have to get with a legit boxing coach. It would take years to get those fundamentals down. He does have natural ability on some movement and pretty decent hand eye coordination, so he’ll definitely pick up a lot of fights. I mean, he is a fighter, but to stick with boxing, he would have to focus on boxing and get an enthusiastic coach that knows what he’s doing.”

In the NBA super teams are a trend. The Golden State Warriors’ Kevin Durant. Steph Curry, Draymond Green and Klay Thompson found a way to make it work. Imagine if a QB and WR tandem of Michael Vick and Terrell Owens running the NFL in their prime was a thing!

Vick would have had the marquee wide receiver he’d always craved back when he was an Atlanta Falcon.

Could you imagine T.O. having folks get their popcorn ready every Sunday? The two tried it in the land of make belief in a Nike commerical.

Meanwhile, back at the ranch: What team could house such a combo?
Vick and T.O. as Philadelphia Eagles or Vick and T.O. suiting up as members of the Atlanta Falcons?
In between playing in the newly launched American Flag Football League that featured Vick, Owens and other NFL vets like Jeff Garcia, Jimmy Clausen, Chad Ochocinco and Justin Forsett, Owens weighed in.
“I mean either or because you got both of us on the same field,” Owens told Eric Salvary on a recent episode of the Get Fit Radio TV webisode.

Statistically Vick had his best year in 2010 as a member of the Philadelphia Eagles, where he started 12 games throwing for 3018 yards and 21 touchdowns. DeSean Jackson was a primary target that year.
Owens, who spent 15 years in the NFL, most notably with the San Francisco 49ers, Dallas Cowboys and the Philadelphia Eagles caught 153 touchdowns and has 15,934 career receiving yards, which ranks second in NFL history.
2010 was Owens’ last year in the NFL as a member of the Cincinnati Bengals.  He could have used Vick that year.  Starting in 11 of the 14 games that year, Owens had 9 touchdowns on 983 receiving yards. It would have been cool to see them team that year. Nonetheless, Owens believes that had the two of them played they would have run havoc. “It doesn’t really matter the uniform,” he said.
