They say reading is fundamental but is it more important than Formation? One North Carolina man sure thinks so. During Beyonce’s trip to Raleigh, North Carolina for her Formation World Tour, George Papageorgiou’s his eyes were intensively in his book, his mother bought him 53 years ago!

A video of the Greece native went viral after another attendee of the concert spotted him sitting down reading while everybody else was tuned into Queen Bey.

The night of the concert, Michelle Gardner tweeted:

Afterwards, major media outlets reached out to Papageorgiou and believe it or not the guy is a fan of Beyonce. He told ABC News, “I’m a fan of Beyoncé. I like her CDs and she’s a very attractive young lady, but in a big event like that, the acoustics are not that great.”

ABC also said that he watched Beyonce perform for about 15-20 minutes and after that, he found a seat and began reading. The book he was reading is titled Danube Pilot by Jules Verne. A book he has read over seven times!

Some people would have died for his ticket!! But at least he came through and supported his wife’s love for Bey.
