#FutureHive, Rejoice. Future Hendrix continues his monumental run with the latest installment in his #MONSTERMONDAY series with a track entitled, “News or Somthn”. After killing his set at Birthday Bash in Atlanta this past weekend, he decided to bless us with something fresh to get the week started. This should hold us over until we get to hear the ever-elusive Ape Sh!t project he has in the works alongside Mike-Will.

Shit. This song is infectious. Teaming up with producer du jour Mike Will Made it, Future has made another hit. What’s interesting is how staccato Future’s flow is on the chorus. It’s similar to “Karate Chop,” but there’s a hard edge to the way he says “Shit!” that sharpens the chop into something more damaging, like a slash from a katana blade. Also, notice how humble the instrumental is. Mike Will Made It can be subtle when he wants. Listen below.

Incidentally, word on the streets is that Mike Will and Future will be releasing a project titled La Familia soon. Fingers crossed.
