School maybe about three weeks away, but a fire summertime banger is always a good way to savor the season, and with his latest track “Call Me Papi”, Connecticut emcee Future Allah is ensuring he prolongs the heat.

The record (produced by Flex Beats) features a building, layered instrumental,familiar themes and favorite hood past-times like stacking your paper,flexing and reminding those around you about how you’re living: “I’m getting money,ma/ My bitches they call me Papi/I count it a hundred times/That’s cause my pockets sloppy.”

While the song could easily rely on the catchy chorus alone to pace the song, Allah goes on to offer lofty verses, containing more substance and length than your average stunting-for-the-summer song. “Call Me Papi” is most definitely a fun track but the lyricist himself comes from very substantive roots. Not only is he the son of a writer, but he chose to take on the heavy alias of Future Allah (due to his influence by the Five-Percent Nation) and all the criticism that can come along with such a significant name.

Hartford, CT, native, Anthony “Future Allah” Walser unleashes the visual to his most recent offering, “Money Keep Coming“, where he teams up with the homie Royce Rizzy, who provides the memorable hook.

As the son of a writer, his mother indoctrinated him into the word of expression by means of word play.  Other early inspirations, such as rappers, The Game, 2 Pac, Nas, and albums such as The Blueprint, spurred an interest in rap music and the hip-hop culture.  Growing up in Hartford, Future Allah found himself in relatable situations and circumstances similar to the ones described in his favorite albums.   By 18, he picked up the pen and began jotting down his life on paper.

Influenced by the 5 Percenters, Future proceeded to change his name to Future Allah, in order to pay homage to Clarence 13X and Allah himself.  Although his name acquires resentment and backlash from the muslim community, he believes that words, similar to ideologies can be embraced and appropriated for a just cause.  Ultimately, his goal as an artist is to make his mark among the greats.  His dynamic style rightfully promotes self-empowerment and growth.  He strongly believes that it is an artist’s responsibility to recall one’s life experiences without filters, which is why he provides raw content in his music.

Creating quality music is just as important as being prolific, my music will be relate able today and timeless tomorrow.
