										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Hell’s Kitchen native and bar heavy rapper, <a href="https://www.instagram.com/marloncraft/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer" data-saferedirecturl="https://www.google.com/url?hl=en&amp;q=https://www.instagram.com/marloncraft/&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1560980956996000&amp;usg=AFQjCNFHLrhNNrrJJUKt_DfVbZzsObGNhg">Marlon Craft</a> released his debut album, <i><b>Funhouse Mirror </b></i>on all platforms on Tuesday (Jun 18). The album takes a deep dive into self-reflection and breaking the mirrors with knowing who he is based on what he cannot see. The 13-track project features live instrumentation and highlighted production comes from heavyweights like: <b>Statik Selektah</b>, <b>DJ Green Lantern </b>&amp; <b>Black Milk</b>.  Craft kicked off the album with the single “<b>Shallow</b>” featuring <b>Dizzy Wright </b>and a <b>DJ Skizz</b> production.</p>

<p>Also, off the album, Craft released the controversial song and video addressing America’s institutional racism in “<strong>Gang Shit</strong>,” produced by <b>Arbus Beats</b>. The provocative song generates conversation around the brand of problematic gang mentality, groupthink and how toxic masculinity manifests itself. The visual, directed by <b>Nathan R. Smith</b> (<b>2 Chainz, T.I., Joey Bada$$, Mick Jenkins</b>) uses poignant imagery of the police and the KKK as some of America’s gangs. Rapper <a href="https://twitter.com/Tip/status/1136061299438301184" data-saferedirecturl="https://www.google.com/url?hl=en&amp;q=https://twitter.com/Tip/status/1136061299438301184&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1560980956996000&amp;usg=AFQjCNHe3bk0vHYSoajHTRZjZG28QeVASA">T.I.</a> stated the video was “powerful” while  <b>Killer Mike</b> supported Craft in calling him an “ally.” Even activist,<b> Shaun King</b> chimed in on the discussion surrounding the video.</p>

Marlon continues to lead with his pen and technical ability, weaving advanced wordplay in a multitude of deliveries. His music is driven at awakening listeners with punch lines and motivational bars.
