As we know, Boosie has a diverse collection of joints that add a perfect blend to the mixtape: Every Ghetto, Every City Volume 1.

The Louisiana representative certainly has the streets on his side supporting his movement, especially fans that followed the trapper from day one. For this reason, it is clear why Boosie decided to come back even harder with the music, appreciating the loyalty and respect shown in every direction, since his release.

Of course it is such happenings and life experiences that bring authenticity to the emcees lyrics as he never fails to keep it real; reaching out to the people and defining the essence of struggle. A track from the southern artists mixtape titled Fly Away represents just that, adding a sense of reality and pain to the project. The lyrics cut deep as he reflects on hard times and the dark side of fame, that many artists fail to touch on within the game.

Hailing from New Jersey, Retch is an artist who is coming up under the same umbrella as the A$AP Mob, Joey Fatts, and A$ton Matthews. He may be most known for being the second half of the duo Da$h & Retch. “Fly Away” is from Retch’s last solo project Delinquents & Degenerates and it’s gritty in all the right ways.

Earlier today Talib Kweli released some new music, “Fly Away,” off his upcoming mixtape Attack The Block (out 9/12). “Fly Away” features a great message with uplifting poetry from Jessica Care Moore. Here is what Talib had to say about the track and his upcoming release:

So I’m starting to get excited about this mix tape I did with the homie Z-Trip, Attack The Block. We will release it one week from today, but I want y’all to be as excited as I am so I am releasing another preview. There was a great response to To The Music last week, so I hope y’all enjoy this one as well..Shout out to Jessica Care Moore for the incredible poem at the end

And calling Attack The Block a mere mix tape is not doing it justice. These rappers these days put out anything and call it a mix tape. Not me. Z-Trip is a true master.
