On June 5, Hot97 will be bringing their annual Summer Jam Music Festival. The festival this year features Big Sean, Pusha T & G.O.O.D. Music, Curren$y, Chance the Rapper, Young Thug, Bryson Tiller, and many more. There will be a festival stage and then there’s also the stadium stage. Taking place at MetLife Stadium, the “premier event for Hip-Hop artists” will be something you surely do not want to be absent for.

This year, Hot 97 has partnered up with FlimOn TV for “Making The Stage,” which is a new contest to bring the next big superstars in to the stage at Summer Jam.

Running through April 18, performers can upload their 90-second demo video onto FilmOn.com/WhosNext. From there, a team of judges from Hot 97 will bring down their choices down to six potential winners, who will then move onto to the semi-finals — performing at Hot 97’s “Who’s Next” events in April and May. The “Who’s Next” events will be streamed live on FilmOn.com. Two semi-finalists will perform at each event. That same event provided a vital platform for artists such as Drake, Travi$ Scott and J. Cole. Taking the top act from each showcase, the performers will then move on to the finals happening in May.

“Just as much reaches the farthest ends of the world, the ‘Making the Stage’ performances will go beyond New York Tri-State area and around the globe via our partnership with FilmOn,” said Market Manager Charlie Morgan.
