Heartbreak Mellz just released a brand-new video for his Denzil Porter-assisted track, “Field of Dreams”. Mellz spits game with some classic, home-made Brooklyn-flavored hip hop,  which is an extension of the style that he has cultivated on his Heart of a Champion mixtape.

Here’s the latest release from one of our fave’s Theophilus London. Mr. London released this song as part of a series of givaways leading up to the debut of his first full length album Timez Are Weird These Days on July 19th.

“Field of Dreams,” produced by Dave Sitek (who also worked with London on “Groove Me”), didn’t make in onto the album, but will be released on The Charming Man’s next mixtape, Prince TL, set for release this fall.

This Borsalino wearing rapper’s career is growing faster than our nations debt… and we love every minute of it.

Yes, that’s Los Angeles Lakers center Andrew Bynum in the ring.  Desperate times call for desperate measures, but it sure is a shame to think we may be without football and basketball if things stay on the same course.  Nevertheless, we’ve got to make the best of a bad situation, which is exactly what NFL and NBA players are trying to do.  Not really sure who Bynum can call on to spar, but god bless him for trying.

On the flip side, a motley crew of NFLers took to the internet to at least have some fun with this lockout.  Ray Lewis, Tony Gonzalez, Shawne Merriman and others got together for this Field of Dreams spoof with Taylor Lautner.  Not sure how Ray Lewis managed to be even more menacing clad in all-white (check him out at the 1:05 mark), but that’s why he plays football.  Stay strong America, we’ve got a serious stake in this business too.
