]]> Last night Wale shut it down House of Blues Chicago as part of his SIMPLE Mobile: Simply Nothing Tour. During his performance of “Friendship Heights”–a track that speaks on a dreaded place called the friend zone–off of his mixtape Festivus, the MMG rapper brought out Chicago’s very own Chance The Rapper to spit his verse.

Chance didn’t leave the audience with just that though, he also gifted them with a performance of “Sunday Candy.” Not many in the audience seemed to know the track, but those anxiously awaiting Donnie Trumpet‘s Surf  will appreciate it. Peep both performances below.

Wale & A-Trak team up to give us an 11-track project that carries features from Ab Soul, A$AP Ferg, Fat Trel, Pusha T, Chance The Rapper, and more. Festivus is filled with good music and Wale doesn’t disappoint. He has also announced that we will be receving his Album About Nothing on March 31st!

In the name of Christmas spirit, Wale is dropping his new collaborative mixtape with A-Trak, Festivus, this afternoon. The DMV rapper released “Loyalty” featuring Dew Baby and labelmate Fat Trel on the Funkmaster Flex show. Over a trap beat filled with auto-tune, Wale raps “Where the f**k the loyalty at?”. The mixtape is to be the predecessor of his upcoming album Album about Nothing which will be released next year. Get into the track below and stay tuned for the release of Festivus.

Wale has dropped a trailer for the December 23rd  release of Festivus. In case you forgot, The Album About Nothing is slated to drop this month, and although quiet, Wale is present. In the trailer you see Wale in the studio, frustrated with himself and lack of new music this year.
