New Music: Sylvan LaCue – “Emeryville”

Sylvan LaCue is back with new single titled “Emeryville” off of fourth-coming album Far From Familiar. Teaming up with a very familiar Linzi Jai, Sylvan delievers another melodic and soothing tune where he bares his heart on his sleeve once again, his life is always reflected in his music.

“Emeryville” is a strong effort since Sylvan’s latest track “Fall From Grace,” which he shared with us a couple of weeks ago. From these two singles alone, we are very excited to be able to hear is upcoming album. Thanks Sylvan!

Earlier this week Miami’s Sylvan Lacue laced us with “04 Caravan”, a tale that was not only centered around a long distance relationship he was once in, but also a precursor to what we have now, which is a 5-song EP, Evangeline.

Done in collaboration with producer, Fortune, Evangeline is “a postlude to my upcoming project Far From Familiar“, according to Sylvan. “I wanted to give my fans something to hold onto before the year was out.”

Miami’s Sylvan LaCue channels his inner JAY Z for “The Watcher 3”

After stepping away from music for nearly a year, Miami emcee Sylvan Lacue emerges from the shadows with a new joint, aptly titled, “The Watcher 3”, serving as an unofficial third installment to JAY Z’s “The Watcher” series.

Channeling his own inner Hov, Sylvan effortlessly spits about the current state of hip-hop, stringing together witty wordplay, over production from Linzi Jai and Wishlade.

“I don’t see anyone talking about the cycle or formula we’ve all been subjected to for the past 3 to 4 years in Hip-Hop”, Sylvan says.

Sylvan Lacue is currently readying his debut album, Far From Familiar, and with joints like this one, it’s safe to say the project looks promising. Press play.
