Every fall, we see new trends that tend to take over fashion for an extended period of time. Chokers have been a part of fashion for thousands of years, however they have reached their peak again. This fall, chokers have sold out everywhere, and every female is wearing them. Earlier this year, chokers ran the runway at New York Fashion Week. Chokers have evolved over time; In the 1860’s, women with chokers were mostly identified as prostitutes, then later they took a royal turn. Now, women wear chokers as statement pieces to either dress up or dress down their daily look.
