New Music: Nicki Minaj – “Pills N Potions”

Nicki Minaj has been counting down to the release of her new single, and it is finally here. “Pills N Potions” is the first single off her upcoming third album, The Pink Print, which will drop later this year. Nicki has stated this album will be more geared to a more hip-hop sound than the “Starships” music she is often known for. The Dr. Luke-produced track has a very soulful feel to it, and it’s definitely a different sound for Nicki. It has a love ballad feel to it which is far different from what we’ve heard from her lately on tracks like “Yaas Bitch,” and “Chi-raq.” Are you digging Nicki’s new stripped down sound?
