Emcee Classiq, whose name sums up his lyrical style, unleashed the “2015 BackPack Flow”. The track is lyrically concise, as Classiq gives fans his perspective on today’s hip hop. Bluntly, this track will definitely piss somebody off, as the emcee challenges his colleagues to a game of originality. As we knock on the doors of 2015, Classiq is ready to burst through them with this track produced by Equal.

We are bombarded with so much new, free music on a daily basis that it’s simply impossible to catch everything. Once in a while, a great project will slip through the cracks, possibly never to be heard from again. Other times, a project will almost slip through the cracks, but get stuck just enough for us to trip over it months later. That’s what has happened with SoCal rapper Emcee Classiq. Cupid’s Vices is a few months old, but it’s far from stale. The concept EP explores the meaning of love, complete with all the joy, pain, and self-questioning that goes along with it. Classiq combines introspective lyrics with soulful crooning and makes for a memorable listen. Stream it below and cop it here.
