The Weeknd has inked a deal with Universal Republic Records. On the heels of this news, it was announced that Abel will be releasing Trilogy on November 13.

As previously tweeted months back, Trilogy will be a compilation of his three free mixtapes from 2011: House of Balloons, Thursday and Echoes of Silence. All three will be re-mixed and remastered. Both the digital and physical copies will also feature 3 additional bonus tracks.

“Wicked Games,” off House of Balloons is set to be the first official release and will hit Tunes soon.

Let this be a subtle reminder to y’all that the new year is rapidly approaching, which means The Weeknd ought be dropping the third installment to his 2011 mixtape series, Echoes of Silence. As you can deduce from the photo, Machine Gun Kelly isn’t the only rapper who busts up hotel rooms, though I suspect there may be some kind of hidden meaning behind this ceremonial trashing.
