East New York’s own, East Shadow, is back today with a new video for his single, “Look At Me Now.” East takes it to the streets of New York in the cool and creative Platano Planet-shot visual, which serves as the first video offering off of his upcoming project, East Mode, set to release on August 25th. No stranger to the game, East Shadow has been making music for 10 years, but things got more serious in 2014 when he went indie and started his own label, Da Formula Ent. He has since released three mixtapes and two albums on his label, and East Mode will be the third album. 

There is nothing this independent artist can’t do. Multi-talented, he has written, recorded, and engineered all three of his mix-tapes and his freshman album. He has directed and edits his own music videos. In addition, he has written a film titled, “Innocent Murder”, that he one day plan to bring to live.

Living by the saying, “My dreams are worth more than sleep,” his goals are to create a legacy not only for himself but more so his love ones. He wants to be able to open doors for people of the struggle worldwide and represent Brooklyn to the fullest.
