New Video: Smoke DZA “Hearses” Ft. Ab-Soul

Back in March, Smoke DZA and Ab-Soul showed their killer lyricism skills on the audio track for “Hearses,” and now there’s an accompanying video. Directed by Goldrush, it is just as dark as the content of the song, but is beautifully crafted. The first scene is set with a black hearse cruising through a cemetery on a seemingly dismal day. Then, the clip cuts to a a grisly crime scene, women in mourning, and a variety of symbolic biblical images. “Hearses” is from Smoke DZA’s lastest album, Dream.ZONE.Achieve. and is available now via iTunes.

New Music: Smoke DZA feat. Joey Bada$$ – “Fhvt BVsturd”

Here is one more taste of what’s to come on Smoke DZA’s album Dream.ZONE.Achieve before it drops tomorrow. “Fhvt BVsturd” gives you that gritty New York feel, and features fellow New Yorker Joey Bada$$. The menacing beat, courtesy of Kirk Knight, is perfect for the Kush God as he raps on the hook, “Fat bastard, rolling up a dutch master.” The track is infectious, and it’s perfect to get us in the mood to cop that album tomorrow. New Video: Smoke DZA “City of Dreams”

This April Fool’s day marks the scheduled release date for Smoke DZA‘s newest compilation, Dream.ZONE.Achieve. Like its title, the album is structured in three acts, each with seven cuts apiece. Of the 21 songs confirmed on the album, one joint is a relic from the past–last spring’s “Ghosts of Dipset.” But this week, two new anthems have emerged on the web to get fans excited for Dream.Zone.Achieve‘s spring unveiling. Yesterday we dropped DZA‘s collaboration with Ab-Soul and DJ Dahi, “Hearses”. Today, we’re blessed with a fresh new video for “City of Dreams,” directed by none other than New York’s own Damon Dash. Smoke DZA and Ab-Soul let you know their lyrics are deadly on their latest collaboration, “Hearses.” Both artists are working on upcoming projects, but that didn’t stop them from coming together and committing lyrical manslaughter. The DJ Dahi-produced track is eerie, mysterious, and grim, and it’s perfect for this deadly duo. They hold no punches as they deliver their respective verses. The Kushed God is currently awaiting to drop his album Dream.ZONE.Achieve. on April 1, while TDE’s Ab-Soul is next in line to drop his solo album. Get into the tack below.
