Memphis heavy hitters, Don Trip and Starlito team up again for their highly anticipated album Step Brothers 3. In honor of the album dropping soon, the duo gives us a fresh video to their first single from the project, “Good Cop Bad Cop.”

Don Trip and Starlito are gearing up for the third installment to their epic Step Brothers series set to release later this week. While on the road touring the south, the two Memphis natives along with the help from Greedy Money production bring us another heartfelt true to life story tackling the rising issue of deadly police shootings of innocent black men.

Starlito and Don Trip work with director, Chris M Robinson to bring the “Good Cop Bad Cop” story to life with this graphic video. More than ever we need artists to speak up about the issues and use their platform to spread the message. With this song, Trip and Lito embody just that while raising awareness. With that being said check out “Good Cop Bad Cop” and look for the new album Step Brothers 3 this week.

Memphis’ Don Trip has a new project on the way in Godspeed and he readies fans for it with a new single. “White House” is produced by Yung Ludd and it’s a controversial cut that balances tough verses with a melodic hook.  Over Ludd’s quality backing, Trip pens strong verses about invading the White House that are sure to make some listeners uneasy.

Rapping and the Black Keys: two great tastes that continue to go great together. David Banner is a great rapper. Don Trip is shaping up to be a great rapper. This is a great remix to a great song. I am trying to break the record for most “greats” in a hundred word post. I think I’ve done a great job.

But, on to the main event. Banner and Trip’s “Do Work” is a very strong record and for those of you who like a little rock in your rap, this remix, which samples the Black Keys’ “I’ll Be Your Man” (the theme song to Hung) ups the ante of the already jammin’ original, changing the mood completely without changing the energy. Great.
