Chicago is the scene this weekend with the LakeFX conference sponsored by Google being the stadium later today in the Windy City. While I’m here in Chi city, I caught up with a couple of recongnizable faces:  DJ Pat XKLusive and Dometi the Prophecy.

The hosts of XKLRADIO, were gracious enough to allow me in their studio and we talked about a myriad of topics: podcasts, journalism and the current digital landscape.

We also talked NBA Playoffs, Michael Jordan, Golden State Warriors, making Gregg Popovich laugh, creating your branding movement, Scoop B Radio, the Brown & Scoop Podcast days on play.it and my moderating SWANK PR’s “The PR Trifecta” workshop: Artist, Business & Branding Partnerships in PR at Lake FX Chicago’s Creation Con Summit at the Chicago Cultural Center. Lake FX Creation Con is the largest mid-west FREE conference for emerging artist and creators which Includes; A & R auditions for musicians, an interactive resource fair, free professional workshops, and free networking events.
