Colombus, Ohio upstart Dom Deshawn has been hard at work on his upcoming release, Noir EP, which will bring a different sound inspired by classic Noir films. To hold listeners over while he puts the finishing touches on Noir EP, Dom releases a new video from his last project, Moods & Interludes. Edited and directed by the man himself, “Gotta Get It” finds Dom in the streets of his city, rapping with ambition and persistence over a mellow Jay Swifa-produced beat. Dom Deshawn is usually pretty chill and reserved in his raps, but his upcoming project Noir sees him taking a different, more aggressive approach. With his previous single, “Listic Muzik“ still floating around in the streets, Dom drops yet another single. This time we get the hard-hitting, P. Blackk– produced “ILL”. This is definitely Dom’s most gritty track to date, thus setting the tone for the project, as a whole.

The Noir EP is set to drop in late May, and will feature production from Curtis Williams, Willie B. and more.

Inspired by the vintage noir film genre, Dom Deshawn is set to release his “NOIR“ EP later this spring. Fresh off his “NOIR EP” photoshoot, Dom laces us with “Listic Muzik,” which is the first single from the project, and is produced by Curtis Williams of Two-9.

Dom Deshawn has dropped his newest project, titled Moods & Interludes. The 12-track tape features guest verses from Curtis Williams, Cecilia Edoja and more, as well as production from Nate Fox, Brandun Deshay, TrapMoneyBenny & Fly Union’s Jay Swifa. Moods & Interludes is a personal & introspective project, showing Dom’s vulnerable side as he reflects on what it takes to make it in the rap world and the changes he’s going through on his way to the top.
