North Carolina-to-Maryland artist YBN Cordae has pretty much proven how dope he is over the past year, essentially setting himself apart from his YBN counterparts Nahmir and Almighty Jay. Now, the XXL Freshman alum delivers his official debut album The Lost Boy, which sees 15 tracks and appearances from Ty Dolla $ign, Arin Ray, Meek Mill, Anderson .Paak, J. The Brooklyn rapper is doing something I’m absolutely in awe of as someone from both sides of the Atlantic: he’s merged his own hard-nosed New York sound with UK Drill and other elements to create something all its own…and it’s infectious as hell. Following the smash hit “Welcome To The Party” (video added below) comes the new project Meet The Woo, which sees nine new tracks (courtesy of production from Rico Beats and 808MeloBeats) to turn up to before the Summer’s out.

Diplo has had a great start to the new year, releasing “Skrillex and Diplo Present Jack Ü,” the debut album from dance duo Jack Ü (Skrillex and Diplo). But that doesn’t stop the Grammy nominated producer, because he turns his attention back to Major Lazer, and their new single, “Lean On” featuring DJ Snake and MØ. The track is catchy and has amazing vocals from the songstress.

You can expect “Lean On” to be on the upcoming Major Lazer album that is releasing in April 2015. There are rumors that the album is to feature the likes of Pusha T, Travis $cott, Ellie Goulding, Gwen Stefani, 2 Chainz and more.

Stooki Sound was supposed to bless New York City with an hour long set at the Governor’s Ball silent disco on June 9th, but they cancelled the appearance. We’d like to think they had a very good reason for skipping out because it’s a shame- damn near a crime- to hide their new exclusive mix from the public.
East London duo, DJ Lukey and Jelacee are Stooki Sound, a brand new production crew deep into the trap sound. Their new 45 minute cut of remixes should definitely be on the summer playlist of anyone who enjoys a high quality, electronic UK sound with tons of sub-bass and beats that are loaded with grimy, energetic rap lyrics.
