Whether you tuned in when we presented Charlotte’s DJ Pauly Guwop’s “Banco Extraodinaire(Sir Michael Rocks Greatest Hits)”, or when he presented Ron Lui‘s “Location Hue”  or maybe the time when he released two mixes in a day, LION! and  Leathers & Fur, you’re familiar with what he’s capable of.

Last month, Guwop DJ’d at Charlotte’s Playhouse while Lil Uzi and Playboi Carti took the stage for CIAA. From what we hear, lit would probably be an understatement. The crowd was crazy, the night was crazy, it was all just very good shit. Although Guwop tookover the dope event last month,  he’s not exactly done giving us all his efforts. There really hasn’t been a month where he hasn’t given us something. Usually it’s a mix or presenting another talented artist, but this time it’s a little different.

Recently the DJ dropped his debut album entitled Reflections of a Creative Visionary. The album consists a total of ten tracks and features artists like Brio, Austin Royale, Julio The Poet, Doug, and Saul Williams. As far as production, seems like Guwop sorta stuck to his circle. Some familiar faces amongst the production of the project include BlackFloyd, as well as Nigel of BlackFloyd, Brio, and even some different faces like PhantomNine, Jimmy Kelso, and MusicHunter. As far as my top 3 that I have on repeat, it would definitely be “What You Wanna Do” (Prod. by Brio), “Mother Nature(Chocolate)” ft. Doug, and “Rap City The Basement” ft. Julio The Poet. Of course, there’s more dope songs on the project but we want to know how you’re feeling about Guwop’s debut. Just last month,  we introduced you all to Charlotte’s DJ Pauly Guwop with multiple works between Banco Extraordinaire (Sir Michael Rocks Greatest Hits Mix) to introducing fellow artist Lui Ron and more. Now he’s back with another great start for this month and he’s doing it by bringing us another artist who goes by the name of Nahom. The Charlotte artist recently dropped a new single for the strip joints and hot kickbacks entitled “Stick Motion”. The song is definitely smooth but peep the single below from the 704 artist and comment to let us know what you think !

Just a little over a week ago, we introduced the “Banco Extraordnaire (Sir Michael Rocks’ Greatest Hits)” mix by the very special DJ Pauly Guwop but now he’s introducing a new artist to the game. The new artist goes by the name of Lui Ron and he’s bringing his own specialty to the table from the  704. The Charlotte,NC artist has built up recognition through his single “Work For Me” and is now back with a new release entitled “Location Hue” produced by Chris Roca . In addition to the dope outro, if you have weed to smoke, have Henny to drink, or like your Sprite pink, this song might need to be your next destination. It seems like the Banco Populair has been in the game for awhile and every time we think he’s retiring the mic, just the opposite takes place. Just last September Rocks as in Sir Michael Rocks released  Populair in addition to his single “Pull Up” going viral. Whether you want to recognize that he’s here to stay or not, a certain DJ is here to prove to you why sleeping on the contemporary icon would be a mistake.

Today, Charlotte’s very own DJ Pauly Guwop drops a dope spin on all the gems you can think of from one of our favorite Illinois rapper. The mix cohesively includes his boon coon, Cool Kids member Chuck English along with Jada Gabore who we’ve witnessed on “T-Shirt & Panties“ and “Wet Paint”s  Dre Undiez . Whether you were on Rocks early in his career or late on arrival, now’s the time to catch up.
