DJ Fate, DJ Holiday & DJ Tay James highlight King Chip’s best collaborations with “Synergy”

It’s been a long time in the making, but it looks like we may finally be getting King Chip’s (FKA Chip Tha Ripper) debut album, Clevelafornia, this year.

To prepare us for the drop, DJ Fate, DJ Holiday, and DJ Tay James have joined forces to create the Synergy Pack.

Nearly 40 tracks long, Synergy is a project focusing solely on Chip’s best collaborations to date, featuring some of our favorite emcees like The Game, Logic, KiD CuDi (of course) and many more, including the long anticipated “Fat Raps 3”, which sees Chip teaming up with Big Sean, Curren$y, Chuck Inglish and Early Mac.

DJ Fate Presents “The Creative Process” with Cal Scruby

Although I’ve always been aware of his growing buzz and fan base, I didn’t get hip to Los Angeles, by way of Cincinnati, Ohio emcee Cal Scruby until late last year, via a mutual friend who emailed me the link to his last tape called Scrubby. After a few listens, I definitely made a conscious effort to keep my eyes and ears open for more of his music.

Nearly two years after the release of his last project, Cal Scruby is back, with the help of DJ Fate, for the latest installment in Fate’s The Creative Process mixtape series, which has previously featured the likes of Lantana, and even Ray Jr. who is scheduled to join in with one of his own, at some point.

22 tracks long, The Creative Process features freestyles over few joints we all know and love, as well as some all-original cuts from Cal. Stream it below and get hip to Cal Scruby, if you’re not yet.
