Alongside the superstars mentioned above, G-Eazy and Miguel are set to headline the event. A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, Kodak Black, Jessie Reyez, J.I.D and more are set to hit the stage at the Gillette Stadium. Diplo is also set to perform with Jillionaire and Walshy Fire as their electronic trio, Major Lazer.

“It is now the year 2019 and sh*t has hit the fan, the world is a mess BUT hope isn’t lost!” the site reads. “Now the MDBP fam is back and they’ve joined forces with Diplo to become one giant sick Frankenstein / robot thingy known as the Major Lazord to throw one SUPER MEGA GIANT ULTRA MAD DECENT BLOCK PARTY FESTIVAL!!”

Tickets to the exciting event go on sale this Friday (Apr. 12) at 10 a.m. According to the flyer, those who are interested in attending will be able to partake in various and unique events throughout the weekend, such as the “world’s largest bounce house,” “go karts by K1 speed” and a “paintball arena by Team Dynasty.”

British star Ellie Goulding is back with a new surefire hit titled “Close To Me,” and she’s recruited super-DJ/producer Diplo and Rae Sremmurd‘s Swae Lee for the guitar-driven cut. I really love how Swae Lee can fit on anybody’s record (it’s why he’s the star he is; his versatility).

Deadpool 2 will be dropping this Friday, and — as the movie will surely be — its accompanying soundtrack looks to be as random and wacky as ever (artists to appear on the compilation range from Skrillex and a-ha to Cher and Dolly Parton). One interesting cut on the project is “Welcome To The Party,” which sees Diplo, French Montana, and Lil Pump jumping on a track with The Four‘s Zhavia.

Check out that Hip-Hop-esque cut above — complete with dancing Deadpool — and pre-order the Deadpool 2 soundtrack here. A visual for “Welcome To The Party” looks to be on the way.

Diplo is definitely one of the few DJ-producers that has the uncanny ability to dwell in any music genre with little effort (ie. Major Lazer). For his latest EP, he connects with many of the new Hip-Hop favorites — Lil Xan, Trippie Redd, Desiigner, Lil Yachty, Goldlink, DRAM and more make appearances on the 6-track offering.

I don’t…really…f***ing care. What kind of music am I supposed to make? Being a white American, you have zero cultural capital, unless you’re doing Appalachian fiddle music or something. I’m just a product of my environment.

I’m sure the Clash never had people mad at them for co-opting [black music].

Following a long and highly anticipated wait, Diplo has finally dropped off his track “Bankroll” which features Young Thug, Justin Bieber  and Rich The Kid.

After previewing a snippet of the track just about a year ago on social media, Diplo has remained pretty coy about the status of this star-studded collaboration.  Although a few unfinished versions of the song have leaked here and there, the super producer chose now to deliver the official cut to his fans.
