Social media jumped on any possible suspects harassing the likes of Rachel Roy and singer Rita Ora. However both ladies quickly ruled out any involvement in any extramarital affairs Jay Z was alleged to be engaged in. The songwriter of “Sorry,” Diana Gordon, spoke to Entertainment Weekly and told the world some much needed details about the track.

In the past, Gordon has written for Jennifer Lopez and Flo Rida. When asked what she thought about the reaction to the ‘Becky’ line, she implied that the lyrics were not really made with anyone in mind.

‘I laughed, like this is so silly. Where are we living? I was like, “What day in age from that lyric do you get all of this information?” Is it really telling you all that much, accusing people?’

Gordon also revealed that she wrote “Daddy’s Little Girl.” The singer created the song with her own father as she didn’t have a dad whilst she was growing up. Upon hearing the track, Gordon explained that Queen B felt that the track very much resonated with her:

‘She [Beyoncé] was like, “This is my life.” I told her, “You know what, take it, do what you want with it.” She went and re-produced it, she changed some words, added the bridge, it’s hers. She didn’t talk to me about her father. We didn’t go into details. I see their relationship in the media just like everyone else…’
