Dhear is a surrealist Mexican artist. His passion for street art developed when he was 13 years old. He is an autodidact, learning from artists’ works, exploring new ideas and applying graffiti techniques to his studio and design work. Dhear enjoys letting his imagination take over. In his own words, “painting humans and real things is boring.”

His characters seem from a different planet but  they still convey human emotions. His work immerses the viewer in an exuberant universe.

One of his main inspiration is Moebius (Jean Giraud’s alter-ego), a French comic book artist. “The joke is that, nowadays, it is sometimes the other way around: art and comic illustrations are influenced by graffiti,” he says.
