For over a year, I’ve been following Deko’s releases. After first hearing him kill it on a single with Fijimancintosh, I knew he was one to watch out for. Although this is only Deko’s first appearance on our pages, the artist and producer is no joke. Referred to as cyberpunk, the upcoming artist has been releasing bangers for a while now and just recently released his sophomore EP entitled, Iridescent.

Personally one of my favorites and Deko’s best yet, the EP is a total of five singles all produced by Deko with help only on the first single, “neo tokyo”, from osean. Over the booming and infectious electro-production, Deko supplies his listeners with many different flows and verses, all with different flavors.

With one feature from YAMEII on “PHANTASY STAR ONLINE” and another feature from Fijimacintosh on “genesis”, the EP is heat from start to finish. My favorite songs are “PHANTASY STAR ONLINE” and “Iridescent”. The beat on “Iridescent” is insane. Take a listen for yourself  below.

San Francisco’s Larry June continues to push his career forward with quality music. On his newest release “Slidin,” he links up with Insomniac LAMB$ and drops rhymes over production by Deko, who most are familiar with through his work with Migos. The slow hard-hitting track serves as the first single off June and Deko’s collaborative EP, Larry Bird. It gives listeners a preview of what to expect to hear on the forthcoming collection of music. Not to mention, it’s a solid follow up to his previous release, “Wrist On 10” with OG Maco.

Migos let go “One Time” as only Migos can. Since announcing their upcoming “YRN: The Album,” Atlanta’s most prolific trio drops their first single, “One Time” off the highly anticipated major debut due out 6.16. Deko’s simplistic bass line give Quavo, Offset, and Takeoff the chance to spit that oh so coveted triplet style. Sure, the content is what we’ve come to expect (and love) from the Quality Control triumvirate, but would we want it any different? In typical Migos fashion, “One Time” is for the club, the car, the crib, everywhere. Hurry up June 16th.
