RESPECT. Premiere: NtheClouds Release Music Video for “Have You Seen Her”

NtheClouds has just released a music video of their song “Have you Seen Her,” directed by Jerms, from their self-titled album.

NtheClouds is a duo made up of emcees, Boi Dru and Jay Kell, who have teamed up with the producer Decap with some production from Brady Watt as well in order to create their recent album. All the members of this production are gifted and experienced musicians, the two producers having worked with artists such as Talib Kweli, Smoke DZA, Melanie Fiona, and DJ Premier. Boi Dru, in addition to being an artist/song writer, also has producing experience, and Jay Kell has performed at many shows and festivals such as SXSW. Put them together and you get the iconic sound of NtheClouds. The NtheClouds album was released on March 28th, and has a a very relatable theme:

Titled after the band’s name, The NtheClouds Album is about Love and all of its parts which not only include the beauty of humanity but also the ugly, yet still desirable side.

This theme and all it encompasses is easy to find in the song “Have You Seen Her.” The music video follows the story, starting out with Dru and Kell searching for “her” in clearings and the woods. They only stop their search to rhyme and move along to the beat about who it is they are searching for.

Premiere: NtheClouds Exposes Us to Love on ‘Waiting On’ [LISTEN]

In the wake of the release of his self-titled project, NtheClouds are premiering their newest track, “Waiting On.”

The Decap-produced single, have a snappy, upbeat flow to it as NtheCloud sings on the hook, “I know what your waiting on, waiting on, waiting on/Got what chu waiting on, waiting on/See I know what you want/And I got what you need/I know it’s been too long/And now you’re here with me.”

“Waiting On” is the ultimate relationship tracks as the lyrics describe the roller coaster of having a significant other. We’ve all been through the fights and the make ups so the single is definitely relatable and it has smooth vibe to jam out to.

And if you aren’t very familiar with NtheClouds, definitely make sure to cop the duo’s (made up of Boi Dru and Jay Kell) self-titled project dropping on March 28th. Need a little nudge? The album is about love: the good and the bad, combined with a mixture of art-filled sounds and strong lyrics. It will definitely be worth the listen, trust us. And as for Decap? Well, he has worked with artists like Talib Kweli, Melanie Fiona, Smoke DZA and more. So yeah, he knows what he’s doing!
