If you know or heard the name Dax is probably from having broken the several times with music releases that will make your head spin and question your perspective. He’s back once more with another video that will have you view Cyber Bullies in a new perspective with his latest release titled “Joker” which doubles as an homage to Oscar winning actor Joaquin Phoenix.

Dax uses his own unique approach to the subject matter of mental health and online bullying by utilizing the clown character to unleash a verbal exorcist. Dax puts on a stellar performance, transforming into a psychotic clown becoming more maniac as the song progresses. As he performs, he raps about the hateful trolls and the effects it has on one’s health.

Never one to confuse the moment and always looking to help others, with the release of the music video, Dax and his indie label Living Legends Entertainment will launch a website delivering a powerful message against Cyber Bullies. With Dax bringing awareness to the very important issues of mental health and social media bullying, they are driving the suicide rate higher each year, “Joker”, gives an amplified perspective, yet conveys the severity of how this issue affects someone.

Dax is hitting the scene and announcing the release of the official video for his new hit single YourWorthIt.org, featuring rapper and producer, Hopsin. This single will be featured on Dax’s upcoming album, It’s Different Now, which is set to be released this summer on August 22nd.

YourWorthIt.org is a mellow track with a meaningful message that listeners will surely vibe to and keep on repeat all summer. Dax is using his music to inspire fans to know their self-worth and spread positivity by starting the #Yourworthitchallenge. The campaign challenges listeners to write YourWorthIt.org on a dollar bill, take a picture and post it on social media using the hashtag #Yourworthitchallenge, and to pass the bill along to keep the campaign alive. Dax is dedicated to using his craft to create a positive change in the community and give back the love that he continuously receives from his fans.

Since moving to Los Angeles from Toronto in 2017, Dax’s music career has taken off quickly. Working with artists such as O.T. Genasis, Casey Veggies, Futuristic and Hopsin is allowing Dax to grow his unique craft of creating music that elicits emotion with melodic sound fans can hear and feel. Although new to the music scene, Dax is making strides in a major way and using his social media platform to show the world his lyrical creativity. If you have not heard any of Dax’s music, you will soon, his most streamed songs on Spotify are “Catch Me Outside” at 820,000 streams, with the music video at 17.7 Million views on YouTube.

It wouldn’t be a proper summer without a series of warm-weather bangers dropping out of the sky to lace our playlists. And the latest track to fit that bill is producer/deejay, Infamous DJ Haze’s  “I Love NY,” a fittingly titled track that shows love to the city that never sleeps by enlisting some of its finest emcees. 

In addition to rising artist, Dax MPIRE, it features lively appearances by New York bruisers Sheek Louch (of The Lox and D-Block) and Uncle Murda. The two Hip-Hop vets flex their rhyming muscles across the super-hype instrumental, which interestingly enough flips a familiar sample used to show love to the opposite coast. That’s right: it’s the very same Joe Cocker flip made famous on 2Pac and Dr. Dre’s mid-’90s classic, “California Love.”

Infamous DJ Haze has thoroughly updated it, though, with a modern sound brimming with huge drums and oozing with swagger. At the same time, he’s also remained true to what made “California Love” such a summer staple. That means “I Love NY” absolutely slaps and features a hook that’ll stay embedded in your brain for days. Good luck not singing along the second time that chorus hits; it’s an earworm for sure. “I Love NY” is now available for stream below.
