<div dir="ltr"><strong>introduce to hip-hop? </strong></div>
</div>
</div>
</div>
<div dir="ltr">DC: I’m originally from the greatest city on earth. We ride slabs with candy paint, sip from double cups, and chop and screw our music. This wonderful place is Houston, Texas. I was introduced to Hip-Hop by watching YouTube clips of Charlie Clips,</div>
<div dir="ltr">
<div>Murda Mook, and Reed Dollaz. I knew of other artist and other songs but watching those guys freestyle really got me interested in music.I was mesmerized at how they could  command an audience with just words.</div>
</div>
<div dir="ltr">
<div><strong>RESPECT: Who are your musical influences? </strong></div>
<div>
<div>DC: Timbaland, Paul Wall, Rico Love, The Dream</div>
</div>
</div>
<div dir="ltr">
<div><strong>RESPECT: What is the difference the music industry and music business?<br />
</strong>DC: In the music business you have to be</div>
</div>
<div dir="ltr">
<div>relentless and consistent. I think the “industry” is a mirage and not what people think it is. I don&#8217;t focus on that part, I focus on making money and having fun doing what I love. I keep it lit like two tips of a light switch.</div>
</div>
<div><strong>RESPECT: How did your transition from the military play a factor on your passion music?</strong></div>
<div dir="ltr">
<div>DC: I remember being on a 7 month deployment working 18 hour days in the Navy after a long tough day up on the flight deck I would still have energy and excitement to make music and explore. I knew that if I carried that same passion for music once i got out of the military I would be alright.If there was one thing I feel makes me a bit different is my ability to get things done. I’m bout it bout it don’t ever doubt it.</div>
</div>
<div><strong>RESPECT.: Who’s your favorite producer and what did you learn from him/her? </strong></div>
<div dir="ltr">
<div>DC: Timbaland taught me how to create unique sounds and how important percussive rhythm is in a track.Tim always has cool little unique things in his tracks that make them stand out.Im constantly looking for little small ways to keep listeners interested.</div>
</div>
<div dir="ltr">
<div>
<div>
<div><strong>RESPECT.: Tell me about your current project/releases? </strong></div>
<p>DC: I have a dope new single called “ Realest in the Room” i cooked up with my kinfolk Shane Foster and Von Vuai. The track features Duke Deuce,Litty Lex and AceVance. We also have an Album coming out June 2020 as well.</p>
</div>
</div>
</div>
<div dir="ltr">
<div>
<div><strong>RESPECT.: What do you look to contribute to the game?</strong><br />
DC: I want to make music that can accompany peoples everyday life in various ways.I want to have music that can fit different moods and work in different environments. Playlist these days are theme based  and as a vibe curator I understand that completely now. I wanna make music for when you want to dance,relax,workout,sing etc etc.</div>
</div>
</div>
<div dir="ltr"><strong>RESPECT.: What’s next for you in 2020-2021?</strong><br />
DC: Shane Foster and I have teamed up with Empire for distribution and look to make a name for ourselves in the world of independent artist from a Producer/Artist standpoint (David Guetta, Calvin Harris, DJ Khaled).</div>
<div dir="ltr"><strong>RESPECT.: Who would you like to work with in the future? </strong><br />
I would like to work with Drake, Rihanna,  and Lil Wayne. I wanna hit the studio, laugh,have a dope conversation about life and then cook up a smash that will shatter glass then collect and count cash.</div>
<div dir="ltr"><b>RESPECT: What does RESPECT. mean to you? </b><br />
I would say self-respect means the most to me. I learned to hold myself to a certain standard of excellence and never let anything or anybody get in the way of that. I learned to value and honor myself.My own self esteem is what carries me in life. I don&#8217;t depend on anything or anyone’s respect at all anymore and if anybody has a problem with me they will RESPECT. these hits i’m about to make! That’s on my momma.</div>
