The above message — a perfect way to paint the picture — is how the new visual starts for Dave and Burna Boy‘s collaboration “Location,” which was co-directed by Kaylum Dennis and is taken from Dave’s chart-topping album Psychodrama. ]]> On Monday, fans in London flocked to Drake‘s first of many shows in the city, where they were pleasantly surprised by a big revelation: the first official trailer for the upcoming new series of Top Boy, an iconic show that Drake helped to revive following it’s uncertain end in 2013.

Now, the rest of us get to see the hair-raising clip, which sees day one stars Ashley Walters (also known as So Solid Crew‘s Asher D) and Kano joined by newcomers Little Simz, Dave (who looks absolutely sinister) and Bashy.

Check it out below…Top Boy: Series 3 is set to arrive by year’s end.

Ever since I learned that Santan Dave was from Streatham, South London (where my family is from), I was definitely rooting for his success. After releasing some of the best music in Hip-Hop period (please check out Six Paths and Game Over if you haven’t already), Dave finally delivers his debut album Psychodrama, which sees 11 tracks and noteworthy appearances from Burna Boy (“Location”), J Hus (“Disaster”) and Ruelle (“Lesley,” one of the most emotionally-jarring songs I’ve heard in a while).

This album is packed with the kind of non-stop, socially-charged and thought-provoking lyricism Dave’s fans have come to expect, making Psychodrama a new entrant for album of the year honors.

We now see that the single has skyrocketed, earning a number one spot on the Official Trending Chart (it could also potentially take the top spot on the UK Singles Chart, which we’ll find out come Friday).

]]> Santan Dave is back with a new visual for “Hangman,” which comes courtesy of LX and Jeaniq. On the powerful track, Dave addresses some comments he made in regards to London’s ‘stop and search’ earlier this year:

The clip — which was premiered via GRM Daily — was shot at the Barbican estate, courtesy of director Kaylum Dennis.
