RESPECT.: What is the music scene like where you are from?

I’m from a small town called “Port Perry” with little music scene or concert halls. I drive an hour to most of my shows in Toronto or greater GTA area.

RESPECT.: Who is your biggest music influence?

Ma$e is my biggest musical influence.

RESPECT.: Tell us about the making of “Anything”

I just had some energy. I basically hit the studio and wouldn’t go home until I had a song each session and we just banged out like thirty records in a day. I had the option to narrow the album down to those 14 tracks and that became Anything.

RESPECT.: What does your latest album mean to you?

My latest album just means I’ve completed another project and that time is everything so there’s really no time to hit the breaks and slow down.

RESPECT.: What do you feel like you bring to the music game?

I feel I bring something different and out of the box. Something that’s unique. I try to be a trend setter and come up with my own ideas and hooks. That’s probably why other artists message me to checkout their music. I respond to them saying I’m an artist not a listener or a label. I’m trying to focus on myself.

RESPECT.: What else do you have on the way? And how do you plan on closing out the year?

I got a mixtape that’s gonna drop in October on datpiff called “Problems” and just constantly creating new music and filming new visuals.
