Hailing from South Los Angeles and raised in Gardena, California – by the 3rd grade, Miles was showing a knack for music. From making music in his bedroom on GarageBand, an influence that helped him gain notoriety on MySpace, to opening up for acts such as Raekwon, Demrick, and B-Real among many others in the 5th grade; Gaines was discovered at the tender age of 12 by music executive Damion Young.

While performing at his father’s, music executive Jason Gaines and his business associate, DJ SKEE’s, annual party, the“Tradition,” the young prodigy was discovered before being signed in 2014 to UMG under Damion Young’s imprint. The partnership led to the release of his hit single, “Tonight’s Anthem.” After a six-year hiatus, Miles Gaines is back and now an independent artist who has released countless singles and his independent debut album titled You’re Not Alone.
