I am very excited to get back to my original formula of composing an album with nothing but legends behind the boards” Term states. “Even though I have done a bunch of projects with other artists, including collaborative albums with Statik Selektah and Lil Fame of MOP, among others (EP’s and mixtapes), More Politics is my second official album.  I’m very proud of it and I can’t wait to see how the fans react to it.  One of the most exciting things about working on a new project is connecting with people you haven’t worked with before. The LOX is back. Rapping over an instrumental that samples a Kanye line from “New God Flow” and some dialogue from Spike Lee‘s Do the Right Thing, Yonkers’ veteran spitters easily remind us how they earned their status as some of hip-hop’s most respected emcees.They also reference The Hangover. Watch below. This is definitely one of the more engaging samples that we’ve heard in awhile. Props to Scram Jones.

What makes Ghostface and Sheek unique is that both have many similarities other than surviving the rap game for 15-20 years. Both are known veterans as group members and solo acts in the rap game. Most recently, both emcees were signed as solo artists to Def Jam Records. Ghostface, the more popular of the two, is best known for hits such as, “All That I Got Is You,” “Cherchez LaGhost,” “Never Be The Same Again,” “Ghost Showers,” “Baby” and Ne-Yo’s “Back Like That (Remix).”

Sheek, who is less commercial and more mixtape/street/underground-friendly, is known for hits “Mighty D-Block (Two Guns Up),” “OK,” “Kiss Your Ass Goodbye,” “One Name,” “Good Love” and Puff Daddy and The Family’s “It’s All About The Benjamins (Remix).” With all the past success, the duo unites with The Lox and solo recording artist Jadakiss to add their street fire flows for the duo’s second single titled, “Stick Up Kids.” The Red Spyda-produced track, visits the hardcore ’90s street rap that both emcees and their respective groups are known for without the need to gain fans by going gold or platinum.

Can’t be mad at this track at all. Styles P teams up with Trae The Truth and Fred The Godson for his latest cut “Throw Down.”  This song is off of Styles P latest project The Diamond Life Project, which drops tomorrow. Good look for The Ghost who’s been quiet for a while now. New York mixed with Texas sounds hella good.
