We have no idea where this will end up, but it is interesting to think about how this song fits into their recent output: they all sound so much older. Listen below.</p>

<p>Born in 1961, <strong>John &#8220;Crash&#8221; Matos</strong> was raised in the <strong>Bronx, New York</strong>, and his art work is proof. From age 13, <strong>Matos</strong> followed the older kids from his neighborhood to go bombing. His moniker &#8220;<strong>Crash</strong>&#8221; sprang from an incident that same year when he accidentally crashed a computer in his school. From then on, &#8220;<strong>Crash&#8221;</strong> in stylistic variations could be spotted throughout the city. The 80&#8217;s saw <strong>Crash&#8217;s</strong> journey from the train yards into galleries.  He contributed largely to launching the graffiti movement as a whole, his iconic patterns leading to collaborations with many big-name companies. He has brought his distinctive style to <a href="http://www.absolut.com/us"><strong>Absolut Vodka</strong></a> and <a href="http://us.levi.com/home/index.jsp"><strong>Levi&#8217;s</strong></a> among others. Check out his latest work:<a href="http://respect-mag.com/street-art-crash/streetartnews_crash_nyc/" rel="attachment wp-att-56864"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" data-attachment-id="56864" data-permalink="https://respect-mag.com/2013/03/street-art-crash/streetartnews_crash_nyc/" data-orig-file="https://i0.wp.com/respect-mag.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/streetartnews_crash_nyc.jpg?fit=640%2C342&amp;ssl=1" data-orig-size="640,342" data-comments-opened="1" data-image-meta="{&quot;aperture&quot;:&quot;0&quot;,&quot;credit&quot;:&quot;&quot;,&quot;camera&quot;:&quot;&quot;,&quot;caption&quot;:&quot;&quot;,&quot;created_timestamp&quot;:&quot;0&quot;,&quot;copyright&quot;:&quot;&quot;,&quot;focal_length&quot;:&quot;0&quot;,&quot;iso&quot;:&quot;0&quot;,&quot;shutter_speed&quot;:&quot;0&quot;,&quot;title&quot;:&quot;&quot;}" data-image-title="CRASH" data-image-description="" data-image-caption="" data-medium-file="https://i0.wp.com/respect-mag.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/streetartnews_crash_nyc.jpg?fit=640%2C342&amp;ssl=1" data-large-file="https://i0.wp.com/respect-mag.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/streetartnews_crash_nyc.jpg?fit=640%2C342&amp;ssl=1" class="size-full wp-image-56864 aligncenter" alt="CRASH" src="https://i0.wp.com/respect-mag.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/streetartnews_crash_nyc.jpg?resize=640%2C342" width="640" height="342" data-recalc-dims="1" /></a></p>
