The debut album Welcome To JFK” was a long awaited project by late emcee Chinx.

Applying hard work to perfect the new production, no-one could have anticipated the unfortunate turn of events that saw Chinx murdered in his hometown of Queens, New York. Evidently this has left the industry deeply saddened as the star earned a respected place with his channel of work.

Of course fans cannot afford to miss such a quality presentation, therefore the album is still set for a August 14th release, as planned. We have now received the tracklist as firm confirmation, with many great names adding their personal touch to the masterpiece in its entirety.

Chinx always tried to stay in his own lane, reflecting authenticity through every offering, and this is a perfect example.

Rapper Joe Budden is known for voicing his opinions on all levels and has recently hit the headlines for just that reason. However, it seems that the “Black Cloud” emcee has pushed the controversy aside as he is now applying his full attention to his forthcoming project, All Love Lost, which is set for release September 25th.

Following a sequence of productions, Budden’s EP’s No Love Lost and Some Love Lost have paved the way for the upcoming concrete LP. Having previewed the new cover art, we are guessing that a dark and truthful album is on the way, while matching the previous deep themes of past EP’s.

One thing is for sure: with his distinctive bars that represent his individuality at its finest, Budden never sleeps on a track.

The Dream is moving in a new direction this year, taking a sophisticated approach with the upcoming EP titled Crown. The streets have been waiting quite some time for a concrete project to emerge, so with a set date in place, we now anticipate something special from the diverse emcee.

Dropping April 14th, the eight-track mixtape has only made room for Grand Hustle’s T.I. and will consist of no additional features. There is clearly a distinct theme to the production, reflected through the classic cover art, and of course the Jewel EP that will be reaching us in the nearby future.

Wale never fails to add a creative touch to his musical talents, reflected perfectly through his recent album artwork. Having already brought us a full length tracklist and arranged features, we were currently awaiting the third cover for the The Album About Nothing. Well, luckily for fans, we don’t need to search any further, as the new design is everything the Ambition artist imagined it to be:

“This third cover was all my idea. This is essentially what the album is to me, a moment of clarity and a moment of expression. This cover is me staring blankly into nowhere. Jerry [Seinfeld] is not there, he’s in my mind. This album is of Jerry speaking as my conscious. The evil voice and the positive voice, he is both of them. Maybe I’m talking to myself. Maybe I’ve lost my mind. There lies a story. My story. And in a few days the world will know it. Illuminate.”

The follow up to The Gifted drops March 31st so be ready to fall into the world of Wale, as he brings a unique story, as only he can tell it.

There is no doubt that K-Dot has kept the industry awaiting his next move, as the secrecy behind the upcoming LP has been somewhat prolonged. Having only previewed a short glimpse of, well, a blank track list, we were left imagining the entire concept and arrangement.

Luckily for fans, Kendrick’s long awaited album is now in the works, as he steps forward to promote the interesting cover art and message behind the unique title that is: To Pimp a Butterfly.

Available for pre-order March 23rd, we are sure that the theme of the project will reflect such intricacy and differentiation as anticipated.
