His latest release comes on the heel of D.Beezy’s latest EP called Distance, which was just released last month; but due to the pandemic, D.Beezy decided to bless fans with a little more heat to help make the quarantine more bearable.

D.Beezy was relatively underground until 2010 when he recorded the entrance song for his high school boys basketball team “State Bound,” causing his career to take off with Beezy seeing success and nods from the mainstream. Earlier this year, D.Beezy released his debut EP titled Distance.

The project came as a surprise to both Lugar and fans after the New York native initially planned on releasing music later in the year, but due to the pandemic, Flexx Lugar decided to bump up his album release date to help fans get through social distancing and quarantine.

“I just have a passion for music. I love to create new songs and love writing. it takes the mind off all the things going on in my personal life,” Flexx told us last year, so his latest move to help fans comes as no surprise.

After releasing a full album and singles “Coming to America,” “NY to LA,” “Getting the Bag,” and “100 Bands,” last year and now a full project with over 15 tracks for your listening pleasure, Flexx is definitely accomplishing his goal.

Blue Magic is definitely an audible treat, flexing hard beats and unforgiving lyrics, the album tells you exactly who Flexx is. The unfiltered style is a breath of fresh air and is definitely a force to be reckoned with within the industry. We are looking forward to hearing more from Flexx later this year.

With these unprecedented times of self-isolation and quarantine, the power of the arts to bring laughter, hope or a  feel-good sensation is more important than ever. Jahmiel who is known for his versatility, ability to transcend the concept of genre with worldwide appeal, has done just through the power of music with his latest release, “Jah Over Everything”, which he hopes will uplift the spirits of mankind.

“Sad times and bad times, you never leave I alone yet. Jah you deh deh for me, when I had no shoulders to lean on me keep strong cause you deh deh for me..”

The meaningful, relatable single, echoes a familiar sentiment heard throughout the world. It calls to a higher power to hang in and have faith.

“Me Jah never sleep and Jah Jah you neva late, if a neva for you, me coulda neva be great,” Jahmiel said.
