It’s time to give it up to one the OG’s doing her thing on the Food Network, former-Hot 97 radio personality Sunny Anderson. Earlier today news of Nore’s Slumbo hit the airwaves, and not a moment too soon for your weekend fix. To be fair Sunny’s been holding it down for close to 90 episodes on Cooking For Real, but her hip-hop roots run deep. Outside of this ode to the latter half of Capone-N-Noreaga, Sunny had 9th Wonder on as a guest star earlier this past season, which begs the question, what is Sunny going to cook up for her 100th episode? Only time will tell, but this still serves as a friendly reminder that hip-hop transcends the recording booth and the radio. Check out the recipe here.
