The Internet, the duo consisting of OFWGKTA members Syd the Kid and Matt the Martian, dropped the video to their single, “Cocaine.” Odd Future insists in their music and interviews that they’re not trying to be shocking on purpose. Making a video about doing cocaine in which an Odd Future member persuades a girl to do cocaine, and then leaves her unconscious body on the side of the road, is a great way to prove the point. On a positive note, kudos to Syd the Kid for displaying a same-sex relationship in a way that’s not simply contrived for men’s sexual fantasies.

PurpleNakedLadies, The Internet’s debut LP, is slated for release in early 2012.
