Coming from one of the most prolific music hubs in the world, Toronto based artist, Persistence traveled all the way from Canada to Chicago last month where he took on the main stage, performing alongside YBN Nahmir, 147 Calboy, and G-Herbo.

While in the windy city, Persistence also took initiative to link up with Cocaine Carii, a talented and upcoming new artist from Minnesota. Together, they bring us a solid, 5-track EP entitled Toronosota. Persistence and Carii named the project after both hometowns due to the fact they both go through similar experiences and circumstances. Satisfied by the results, the two artists continue to show their consistency time after time, applying pressure at every possible angle.

Although the chemistry between both artists is undeniably strong on all five singles, my favorite songs from the EP are “Like Me” and “Wit You”. Hosted by DJShurefire, enjoy the EP on Spotify below.
