If you look good, you feel good, if you feel good, your performance in your work is sky-high! In the midst of everything 2017 NFL Draft last week, insurance broker and FOX News analyst, Rich ‘Big Daddy’ Salgado hosted a panel at Saks Fifth Avenue in Bala Cynwyd, PA.

Salgado, owner of Coastal Advisors LLC and an analys on FOX Business and FOX News, advises some of your favorite athletes in insurance needs. According to The Postgame’s Jeff Eisenband, that list includes: Justin Tuck, Vernon Davis, Reggie Bush, Jeremy Lin, Ryan Braun, DeAndre Jordan, Michael Strahan, Adam Schefter, Jay Glazer and even Melissa Joan Hart.

While everyone was in town for the draft, everybody let their hair down and unbottoned their shirt collars to talk fashion.

On a panel that included Cincinnati Bengals’ top draft pick, John Ross along with Philadelphia boxing legend Bernard Hopkins, Philadelphia Eagles tight end Lane Johnson and Sports Illustrated’s Andrew Brandt, the topic was men’s fashion in sports.

Long gone are the days of Bugle Boy jeans, Boss Jeans or oversized Mitchell & Ness jerseys. Fashion in sports is big business!

“I love fashion,” Bernard Hopkins told me.

“I look good, I like to feel good, I definetly like to perform good. It’s a three punch combination that’s, to me; that’s something that should be taught when you’re really young. Better late than never, but I love fashion!”

Folks like LeBron James, Cam Newton and Chris Paul are some of sports’ best dressed and many athletes have followed their lead in creating their own style like the Oklahoma City Thunder’s Russell Westbrook and Chicago Bulls’ Dwyane Wade.

Nice kicks, freshly pressed slacks and a million smile is all part of the brand. That said, dressing to impress isn’t just a thing; it is the standard!

As many of you have already heard, football is back. The free agent frenzy is beginning to peter out, but as some players find new teams some fans are having trouble letting go. The latest edition of fans taking their loyalty too far comes to us from Cincinnati, Ohio. This was one disgruntled fan’s response to Chad Ochocinco‘s trade to the New England Patriots.

In what amounts to a distasteful display of puerility, this fan took the time not only to burn his ex-favorite player’s jersey, but also record it for internet consumption. Nevermind the fact that it takes four attempts to burn a jersey, this would have been a novel idea if we hadn’t seen it before, but alas LeBron was the first to see his numbers go up in flames. The part of this that is particularly troubling is that this fan doesn’t seem to understand how bad his football team really is. Fact of the matter is, some players still with the Cincinnati Bengals are doing their best to get out of Cincinnati. People have got to realize that loyalty in sports will only take you so far, and it is only a matter of time before players go chasing the only two things that matter: money and winning. There’s no use getting all worked up over it, just be happy we’ve got the game we love back.

While you guys are filling out your fantasy rosters, give All Terrain‘s (a Virginia emcee) “Football’s Back” a listen. Sure, we’ve all heard remixes of Meek Mill and Rozay’s joint, but football is back so let’s try to enjoy it y’all.
