John Legend‘s ‘Darkness And Light‘ album was released today and has a few special appearances. A duet with a sweet melody that stands out is his collaboration, “Overload,” with singer/song writer, Miguel.

The two Grammy Award-winning singers come together to talk about the struggles of maintaining a relationship in the spotlight. Both R&B singers are in serious relationships that is closely watched by the media and public. John Legend and model wife, Chrissy Teigen, welcomed their first child together, Luna Simone Stephens and Miguel and long-time girlfriend Nazanin Mandi got engaged.

The track starts off with a slow acoustic tune with Legend’s voice reminiscing of how it all was in the beginning. “Yeah we used to flirt with freedom ‘fore everybody knew our name / We became their favorite secret, love for love and not for fame,” he sings. Then Miguel comes in on the second verse choosing to ignore the distractions singing “Let that cellphone ring, let that bluebird sing, let that message say I’m red /  Let them talk about us, let them talk too much while we rule the world from our bed.”

Vegas a town with so much lust and excitement that it even can gets to the stars.

During a recent Mariah Carey concert in Las Vegas, she saw singer John Legend in the crowd and decided to bring him on stage for a priceless moment. What made this moment such a unique part of the concert? Carey decided to blindfold Legend during a rendition of her hit single, “Touch my Body.”

During the steamy performance, Mariah decided to blindfold Legend and then tease him with a pink feather. Then one of Mariah’s dancers got on top of Legend and proceed to dance all over him. The dancer then proceed to rip his shirt off. This act got a huge ovation from the crowd.

However, for those calling out Mariah for foul play against Legend’s wife, supermodel, Chrissy Teigen. Let’s just pump the brakes for a second. Teigen was also in the audience so it wasn’t really a dirty move. I actually think she knew exactly what was going to happen.

And by the looks of it, Teigen was screaming like a fan girl during all of it.

After Mariah’s brilliant performance, she took to social media to address what happened on stage. She posted an Instagram picture of the three of them hugging after the show claiming that Legend and she has been friends, “We go back like babies and pacifiers.”

As for the father, on Sunday, April 17th John Legend announced via twitter with exuberance that their “new love” was born the prior Thursday, the 14th. The couple is doing well at keeping their privacy on lock, considering the two baby-makers didn’t announce that Teigen was pregnant until six months ago. 

The photo Teigen released is of Luna is a profile, clearly showing off the excellent cheek bones she got from her mother. The media and fans are patiently waiting for clearer photos of Luna, the Aries to be posted.

Make sure to send the couple sweet wishes on twitter as they move on raising their bundle of joy. Teigen playfully expressed her first reality check of  motherhood by tweeting on Sunday, April 17th:

“Thank you for all the well wishes!!! We are so happy and excited! I dunno what to tweet now. Does my twitter change? This is so awkward”

A legend was born!

Singer, John Legend and wife, Chrissy Teigen welcomed a bundle of joy into their lives. “She’s here! We are so in love with you! And sleepy. Very sleepy,” said the couple who announced the birth of their first child on social media on Sunday; their daughter was born on Thursday, April 14th.  The baby girl who weighted 6 lbs., 11 oz. is named Luna Simone Stephens.

The coupled who married back in 2013 announced that they were expecting their first child back in October after opening up regarding fertility issues. The 30-year-old model spoke on her struggles of conceiving and how she had to undergo IVF treatments. Back in February she told People Magazine exclusively that she hand picked a female embryo.  “I’ve made this decision. Not only am I having a girl, but I picked the girl from her little embryo. I picked her and was like, ‘Let’s put in the girl.’ ”

Congrats to the two!
