The Cutthroat Boyz don’t play. As we patiently await Joey Fatts’ next project Chipper Jones Volume 2, he’s released another single, featuring his partner in crime Aston Matthews. If Joey sticks to his word, then we’ll receive Chipper Jones Volume 2 sometime this month. Until then, stream his latest effort, “The Code,” below.

Joey Fatts knows how to put a track together. Enlisting both A$AP Rocky and Danny Brown for the same track was a good idea, but it became a great one when 808 Mafia’s beat dropped. While Joey would have benefited from alternate sequencing–his subdued, Curren$y-esque flow would be a dip in energy following Danny Brown even on a bad day, which he’s not–he still lets off a few solid lines, with “Better pray that you blessed when the snub sneezin'” being his best.
