As we get closer to the June 19th release of the critically acclaimed, Sundance Film Festival fan favorite, DOPE, we get a better sense of what to expect with the release of it’s red band trailer. The movie, which is set in the hood of Los Angeles, follows Malcolm (Shameik Moore) as he navigates through the concrete jungle and eventually gets a chance invite to a live underground party that has life-changing potential.

The all-star cast includes Shameik Moore, A$AP Rocky, Tony Revolori,Chanel Iman, Kimberly Elise, Quincy, Zoë Kravitz and more. Not to mention, DOPE was also executive produced by Pharrell Williams. So, you know it’s got to live up to it’s title. Check out the trailer below.

RiFF RaFF and Katy Perry were undoubtedly embodied the VMA spirit last night. The two wore a Versace Couture denim outfit inspired by Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake‘s 28th Annual American Music Award outfit from 2001. “WE’RE GOIN FOR DA BEST WORST DRESSED TODAY #THISISHOWWEDOVMAS,” tweeted Perry earlier on Sunday. “I must admit my outfit is a result of my love for nostalgia and my tumblr addiction #THISISHOWWEDOVMAS,” she continues.

The outfits were perfectly tailored and showcased how the musical couple does it: loud, fun and memorable. Britney herself was a fan of the look. She messaged Perry saying: “Just when I thought the denim dress had retired….you bring it back! You looked amazing tonight bb.”

The September issue of Vogue is going to be quite interesting.

The fashion magazine has not only put a woman of color on the cover for the first time in 25 years but the issue also features an editorial with A$AP Rocky and Chanel Iman. The couple have graced many other magazines before but this is the first time they will be featured in a magazine as a couple. And they look very stylish, if we may add.
